I love this picture of two of my own children. This set was part of my “Delaware Christmas Mini Sessions”. I didn’t ask them to hug when I was taking their picture, it was spontaneous affection!
I ordered this image as an 11×14 bamboo print. When it came in last week, my son was looking at for a good deal of time. We talked for a bit about that print. He loves it, and I agreed that he could have it someday when he has his own house.
I love imagining him, all grown up with a family of his own, pulling this picture out at Christmas time and carefully placing it on his mantel. Maybe his children will stop and watch him as he does so. Then, he will share a story about him and his silly sister. This moment may or may not ever happen, but I’m sure it is even less likely to happen if I had not printed this picture.
