I always kind of liked the idea of having twins (careful what you wish for, right??), but never got them. My “twins” came 4 years apart! Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that my daughter would be born on her brother’s birthday! This past weekend, we celebrated their 4th and 8th birthday. Which, you will hear more about in a later post
I’m pretty sure if I had two babies at once I would almost never leave the house! I definitely admire mothers of multiples who are ever able to go anywhere or accomplish anything beyond keeping everyone alive! Here’s a virtual high-five for you all! If I could give you all a bar of fine chocolate, I would. Ghirardelli Dark and Mint probably don’t actually qualify as “fine chocolate” but in my book it is a little piece of heaven. That is, a little piece of heaven that I hide in the pantry or in my bedroom and sneak away to eat one when no one is looking!
I know I’m not the only mother that does things like that, did everyone see the video of the mother of quadruplets that went viral recently? She totally cracked me up hiding in her pantry eating her treats! Even though I don’t have quadruplets, I could totally relate! All of us mothers have been there at one point or another!
Recently, I had the lovely opportunity to be the photographer for two little boys who actually are twins! They were celebrating their 1st birthday and came over with their parents and sister for a session. They were such fun little boys and definitely adored by their parents and big sis!
