Newborn Pictures of Baby Penelope – Middletown DE
A week and a half ago, little Penelope and her mom came over for Penelope’s newborn pictures. Penelope arrived in this world 4 weeks early, and she is such a dream! Not only does she have the sweetest, most perfect little features, but she also slept for her entire portrait session!
Thank you, Rorie and Penelope, for giving me the opportunity to work with you and create these beautiful images! I can not wait to see Penelope grow, and I know you are just soaking up her sweetness and relishing in the joy she has brought into your life! Congratulations to you and your family!
Something about capturing a newborn in a beautifully made portrait is so gratifying! We all know how quickly newborns grow and change. These are some of the most precious moments in our lives, and we think we will remember all the details, and recall how small they were, but inevitably, as time goes on, those memories fade. I’m so glad Penelope’s family will have these images to bring them back to these moments!
Often, we acquire something new, and and the thrill of it as we hold it, wear it, or use it gives us great pleasure. Whether it is a new outfit, a new purse, a gadget for the kitchen, a lush new comforter, or a new electronic– eventually that excitement fades. The item becomes dingy, worn out, and eventually looked past as “just another item” that we own.
Portraits, however, only become more precious, and more cherished as time goes on. They become some of our most valuable possessions! Truly, they become an investment that only grows in value.
I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet this sweet  family and help them preserve these moments for generations!
