Winter sessions have a special kind of charm! Delaware winters are usually pretty mild, but this home portrait session actually had several inches of snow on the ground! We got lucky with it not being too cold though for a few quick images on the porch. Family portraits in your home during the winter is one of the best ways to capture connections while you relax in your own space.

Sometimes a cozy home session is just what the soul needs to preserve your memories!

We love the land o lakes so much that we order it online. I prefer the chocolate supreme. Dale also likes the raspberry but he is a lover of most things raspberry 😉
I’ll have to try both of those varieties! Thanks Carolyn!
Have you ever tried Stephen’s? Their mint hot chocolate is my favorite! And actually the LDS cannery hot chocolate…it’s surprisingly great.
I have tried them, although honestly, I forgot they were around! I don’t think Giant in Middletown carries that brand, which is where I bought most of this stash. Love their hot chocolate though. I also used to have some from the LDS cannery, but ran out awhile back.
Oooh I LOVE Ghirardelli hot chocolate. I’ll have to try some of these other kinds! I love that you are doing a hot chocolate test!
YUM…we love hot chocolate at our house!! Mint hot chocolate is one of my faves, too! What a fun post! I’m in Middletown, too…but in Indiana, lol!
I gotta get me some Ghirardelli Double Chocolate! yummy!
